Dr. Alison
Holman

Alison Holman, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Sue and Bill Gross School of Nursing. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Holman has been PI or co-PI on several community-based studies of coping with a variety of traumatic life events (e.g., firestorms, terrorism) funded by the National Science Foundation and the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation.  
       
 

Dr. Steven
Cramer

Steven C. Cramer, M.D. is a Professor of Neurology and Anatomy & Neurobiology at UC Irvine. Dr. Cramer was Director of the Stroke Center at UC Irvine from 2004-2009. His research focuses on brain repair after central nervous system injury in humans, with an emphasis on recovery of function after stroke.  
       
 

Breann McGee, BS, CCRP

Breann McGee is the Project Manager for the STRONG Study. She oversees all aspects of the project as well as facilitates the onboarding process for all sites.

Breann received her degree in Genetics from Purdue University.

 
       
 

Madelyn Cao, BA

Madelyn Cao is the Research Assistant for the STRONG Study. She is responsible for screening, consenting, and completing Visits 1, 3, and 4 with eligible participants at the UCI Medical Center. She oversees our team of physical and occupational therapists.

Madelyn graduated from the University of California Irvine and has been working in human research since 2016.

 
       
 

Kelly Isaacs, PT, DPT

Kelly Isaacs is a Physical Therapist for the STRONG Study. She performs Visit 1 and Visit 2 assessments.

Kelly graduated from Chapman University with her doctorate in physical therapy, and enjoys working with persons with stroke as a PT in an acute rehabilitation hospital.

 
       
 

Justin Razeghian, DPT

Justin Razeghian is a Physical Therapist for the STRONG Study. He performs Visit 1 and Visit 2 assessments.

Justin enjoys working as a PT in an acute rehabiliation setting with geriatric and neurological patient population.

       
 

Kristen Bang, MA

Kristen Bang is an Occupational Therapist for the STRONG Study. She is responsible for completing Visits 1 and 2 with eligible participants.

Upon graduating from the University of Southern California with a Master's in Occupational Therapy, Kristen plans on working on geropsychiatry and/or adult neurorehabilitation.

 
       
 

Baylor Hogan, SPT

Baylor Hogan works as a Physical Therapist for the STRONG Study. She performs Visit 1 and Visit 2 assessments.

Baylor is a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at Chapman University with a special interest in neurological rehabilitation and stroke recovery.

 
 
       
 

Davina Chau, OTS

Davina Chau is an OT Consultant for the STRONG Study. She is responsible for completing Visits 1 and 2 with participants.

Davina received her degree in psychology from the University of California Riverside, where she worked as a psychology researcher for 2 years.
